- What is CRM?
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is the process of building and
maintaining relationships with clients and customers by saving data and
reusing it at scheduled intervals to better serve their needs.

- What does "web-based" mean?
Our software is delivered "as a service" via the internet. Historically
when buying software, you were forced to undergo a complicated process
of installing it on your own server and computers, often involving an
in-house IT staff. With our "on demand" model, your data is
hosted on our servers and distributed back to you as you need it. This
allows new users to get started immediately, and also keeps costs very
low. Best of all, you aren't forced to purchase an expensive package that
may not be used by much of your staff. We charge "per user, per year",
so you are only billed for the accounts that are actually being used.
Most of our clients consider us another utility, similar to the way you
pay a monthly cable or water bill.

- Why are the benefits of using software that
is web-based?
The greatest benefit of choosing a web-based solution is the ease of implementation.
Our typical new client can have an active account within 2 hours, and
can add new users with a few clicks. There is no drawn-out installation
process or need to hire additional implementation staff. Another benefit
is affordability, which is a direct result of our web-based distribution.
We don't need to manufacture, package, ship, or install software, and
we're able to pass the savings along to our clients. The third benefit
is customization, which is not usually an option for traditional installed
software. Whereas with an installed package you would need to hire software
developers and database experts to customize the software, our staff can
quickly alter your version of our software right on our servers, and quickly
begin serving the custom solution to you. Furthermore, as we add new upgrades
to the standard software package, we can automatically implement these
changes to your subscription if you desire. Other benefits include security,

- How much does this cost?
Our pre-configured solutions are billed on a per-user, per-year fee schedule,
meaning you only pay for the accounts that are actively being used. The
yearly fee varies depending on number of users and length of service agreement.
Customization of pre-configured packages is typically free, depending
on extent of customization. Completely custom-built solutions are billed
in the same way, with the addition of an initial development fee. For

- When will I be able to start using the software?
You can be online and using one of our pre-configured solutions withing

- What is involved in building a custom software
package for my company?
Before building a custom solution, you may want to use
ClienTracker for free for 30 days. look at our pre-configured solutions.
If the standard version of ClienTracker (or a slightly modified version)
will not meet the needs of your company, we can build you a customized
solution (built from the ground up). To get started, please contact
us with some information about your industry, your company, and what
you're looking for in a CRM package. An account representative will contact
you to further discuss these needs, and if you choose to move forward
with the development, we will begin the development process. This process
can take a couple of weeks to two months, depending on the complexity
of the project. A development fee will be negotiated, as well as an annual
subscription fee for our on-demand distribution. Custom built solutions
may also be hosted on your server, although allowing us to host it will
include our security and support services.

- What makes your software better than tools
like ACT!, Outlook, and Goldmine?
Although these tools have found wide adoption in the marketplace, they
are really just advanced email programs with some contact management features.
They lack true customization support, and require complicated processes
or add-ons to be accessed via the web. An internal network is usually
required to share data throughout the organization, and upgrades must
be purchased year after year. Also, dedicated support is not usually available,
and an in-house IT staff is typically required to maintain these packages.
Our software is distributed via the web, hosted on our servers, maintained
